About Us

Troy Minerals (CSE: TROY) is a mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. The company is currently focused on it’s flagship Lake Owen project (formerly SW2) – a highly perspective Vanadium, Titanium and Iron ore rich project that consists of 91 mineral claims located approximately 50km southwest of Laramie, Wyoming USA. The property is a one billion tonne plus target in a Proterozoic Layered Mafic Intrusive host with strong magnetite-rich cumulates and accompanying V/Ti and Pt/Pd/Au/Rh-bearing sulfide horizons.

The company also owns the Lac Jaques project – a high grade REE drive to property with close infrastructure located approximately 250km north of Montreal Quebec, Canada and is comprised of 17 claims totaling 994 ha. The Property hosts high grade REE mineralization at the surface in a structurally controlled and steeply dipping carbonatite dike up to 25 meters thick with multi-kilometer potential.

Additionally, the company has the right to acquire 100% interest in the Green Gold Project comprised of twelve (12) mineral claims with an aggregate area of 7,587 hectares located in central British Columbia in the Cariboo Mining Division, approximately 34 kilometers (km) southwest of the city of Prince George.

The company also owns the Ticktock Property located within the prolific Golden Triangle region of British Columbia, Canada. The 1065-hectare property, which lies 23km northwest of the historic Eskay Creek Mine, sits between the Enduro Metals Newmont Lake property and the Aben Resources Forrest-Kerr property.

Our Management

Rana Vig

President & CEO / Director

Rana Vig has 30 over years of business experience during which time he has helped to launch five business ventures in private industry. He has been involved in publicly traded companies since 2010, and from 2011 to 2016 he was the President of Musgrove Minerals, an Idaho focused gold and copper mining exploration company, and from 2013 to 2016, he was the Chairman and CEO of Continental Precious Minerals Inc., a TSX senior board listed mining exploration company with a focus on advancing one of the largest uranium deposits in the world located in Sweden.

Mr. Vig is a former chair of BC Open Learning Agency, and serves on several public company boards and committees. He is active in many charitable and community organizations acting as director or advisor.

In November 2017, he was invited to the Canadian Senate to receive the Senate 150th Anniversary Medal – which were awarded to top Canadians actively involved in their communities who, through generosity, dedication and hard work, make their hometowns and communities, a better place to live.

NORMAN BREWSTER

Director
Mr. Brewster’s mineral industry career includes serving on various company boards, financing, and developing the Aguas Tenidas Mine in Spain, and
negotiating the purchase of the Condestable Mine in Peru. He also led the committee in reviewing the successful acquisition of Iberian Minerals Corp. by Trafigura Group Pte. Ltd. in an all-cash takeover valued at around $497.8 million.

Gurdeep Bains

Director

Mr. Bains is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) who in 2003 received his Chartered Accountant Designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC and in 2004 graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. From 2000 to 2005, he was a Senior Auditor, Assurance Services at KPMG.

From 2005 to 2014, Mr. Bains was with Canaccord Genuity as Vice President, internal audit and financial analysis where he was involved in the company’s global expansion by performing the due diligence and integration of $850M in acquisitions in Canada, US, UK, Australia and China.
From June 2014 to October 2017, he was the CFO at OK Tire Stores Inc., an automotive company with over 330 locations across Canada. From October 2017 to March 2019, Mr. Bains was CFO at Zenabis Ltd., contributing in both finance and business development roles.

REGINA LARA YUNES, CPA

Chief Financial Officer
Lara Yunes is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a Bachelor’s of Technology in Accounting from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. She is currently a Financial Reporting Manager at Treewalk, providing accounting, financial reporting, and compliance services to publicly listed firms. Prior to this, she worked at Smythe LLP as an accountant, offering audit and tax services to both private and public companies.

Amandip Singh

Amandip Singh is a seasoned geologist and mining professional with over 15 years of diverse experience spanning the mining industry, finance, and academia. He has held progressively senior roles within notable mining companies, including West Red Lake Gold and Magna Gold Corp, where he played a pivotal role in corporate development and management, contributing to significant project advancements and successful acquisitions.

With a background as a sell-side mining analyst and hands-on experience as an exploration geologist, Mr. Singh brings a unique blend of technical expertise and financial acumen to the table. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Toronto and has demonstrated a strong commitment to the mining sector through his contributions to various successful projects and transactions.

Michel Jébrak

Michel Jébrak, a distinguished economic geologist with over 40 years of experience, is renowned for his extensive contributions to mineral exploration and resource management. Serving as a trusted advisor to entities like the national geological survey of France (BRGM) and the government of Quebec, Mr. Jébrak has played pivotal roles in shaping policies and strategies within the mining sector. As a former director of Sidex Mining Investment fund for more than two decades, he demonstrated astute leadership in fostering investment in mineral exploration ventures across Quebec.

Recognized for his scholarly achievements, Mr. Jébrak has authored over 100 papers and several influential books, including the seminal work “Geology of Mineral Resources,” which has become a global reference in the field. His dedication to academia is evident through his tenure as a professor of economic geology at the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM) since 1987, where he has inspired countless students and scholars.

Beyond academia, Mr. Jébrak has been instrumental in founding key organizations such as the Order of Geologists of Quebec and the Canadian Council of Mining Innovation, showcasing his commitment to advancing responsible mining practices and fostering innovation in the industry. Recipient of prestigious awards including the Jean-Descarreaux Award and the Bancroft Award, Mr. Jébrak’s contributions have left an indelible mark on the field of economic geology and mineral exploration, earning him global recognition and respect.

Simon Sefzik

Simon Sefzik brings a comprehensive background in public policy and governance, highlighted by his role as the youngest state senator in Washington state, representing the 42nd Legislative District. During his tenure, he served on pivotal committees such as Senate Housing, Health, and Higher Education & Workforce Development. His experience extends to the national level, where he contributed significantly to the White House during the Trump administration, notably within the Department of Intergovernmental Affairs and the White House Management Office.

Prior to his political career, Simon excelled academically, graduating summa cum laude with a B.A. in American Politics and Policy Studies from Patrick Henry College. His academic achievements were complemented by his involvement in varsity moot court competitions and his role as Director of Research for the George Wythe Review, a prestigious undergraduate public policy journal.

Simon’s dedication to public service extends to his involvement in various non-profit organizations, including serving as a board member of Cascade Connections, the Bellingham Central Lions Club, and the Washington Policy Center Young Professionals Advisory Board.
